To build the future with children’s dreams
There’s an Indian proverb that most of us know
“We have not inherited this world from our ancestors, we borrowed it from our children.” When it comes to children, adults always use that word in one place. What about the practice? Can they put that promise to life?
Nature and children
In social areas, general nature, environmental pollution issues such as when it comes to the agenda will be left to children.
Do not pollute the environment, use the resources correctly you will not leave a natural environment for our children to use, the messages are given in succession, applications for this are scrawny.
I agree with all of the efforts in this field that have been said and done to the thoughts and our children about leaving a nicer environment and the world.
But the subject of my writing is not the part of nature.
The focus of the future we leave to our children is not only consuming?
Perhaps the key to our children’s future is our children again, right? We’re going to discuss it below, but first, let’s consider it a matter of imagination and entrepreneurship.
Elon Musk
In recent days, sitting on the world’s agenda with different perspectives and entrepreneurial moves, the latest visit to Turkey is an investor who has become more recognizable in our country.
Musk’s dream is to go to Mars. (Though we’ve been going to Mars for years:)
Of course, it’s a dream. It relies on the prediction that mankind will eventually consume the planet Earth, resources, nature (which may be because they do not heed the warnings of the Indians), and will need a new planet to live in.
He’s been experimenting with rockets to implement his idea. It also makes different initiatives to finance their investments.
Elon Musk has different ideas and methods for implementing these ideas. To better understand the way you perceive the world, I am interested in the book “Tesla, SpaceX and the pursuit of the Great Future” by Ashlee Vance, written about Musk.
The way they meet new ideas, what they do to bring them to life, their trials, failures, achievements, etc. are mentioned in many examples.
You’re dreaming more of the future when you read the book.
The way Musk thinks is important, especially with earthlings trying to save the day, to see the difference between the worlds that are trying to build the future. But we can do better or do it to build the future.
Children, the perception of imagination and reality
I’ve been chatting with my son.
He asks me questions, we argue with him. Sometimes he wonders what he sees in the neighbourhood, he’s guessing, or he asks me, we open the subject, turn the traffic jam into an opportunity.
Yet, during a trip we recently saw the incense smoke coming out of a building far away, before evaluating the potential to harm the environment of this smoke, and asked questions about the energy varieties and their use, we talked for a long time. (We find more time when traffic is not advancing.)
Then, based on the same smoke, he retreated the subject physically and artistically and said that the smoke in the sky was actually a visual illusion because it was so far away that it seemed like a picture, not a moving reality.
The things that we saw in the sky, the stuff that came out of the smoke. But he detonated the bomb at the last point; you know, the smoke looks like a picture, maybe it is, and everything we see is actually a picture and drawn by a very talented painter. Maybe we were just drawn like a picture, like cartoons…
This thought can now be considered normal for many adults who are interested in science fiction films such as Philosophy or Matrix. But for a 9-year-old boy to be dealt with this idea in a daily matter, if you ask me, the result of a different imagination and freedom, the ability to have different vision and imagination in children, and the expression of potential.
Now back to the question above!
Could our children be the key to the future we leave to our children?
Children’s dreams and future
Technology, social media, traditions and in a nutshell are much faster and knowledge-intensive in comparison to the old age. The current thinking structure of adults, the potential and shape of processing the same data can often not be as free as children.
For example, in the dreams of a child who was trapped in the learned desperation of an adult who could not imagine the intercontinental video conversation in his childhood, and who was using this opportunity more innate and coding in his mind as “the world was already so” The power of independence and imagination cannot be compared to me if you ask me.
With an adult who is struggling to reach a single textbook in order to achieve basic information in his childhood, he is able to listen to classical music in his mother’s womb before being born, with the details of each subject in accordance with every age after birth. With different versions, the Internet, which is described in different ways thanks to the information that comes out of the now children can be held?
If you ask me, you can visualize the capacities of the present children in your mind, like a kind of thought/idea seeds. The more you consciously sow, stare, feed, the more beautiful and useful idea of mankind you can already reach from their clean imaginations.
So the present children will build their future through US adults.
“We have not inherited this world from our ancestors, we borrowed it from our children.” So far, more and more existing resources were interpreted as the right and effective way to use nature and to transfer them back to adults in the future. The subject was adults.
If you ask me, this is the word; We need to interpret the future as to how our potential can be evaluated on building it in line with the dreams of children. The subject needs to be children.
For example, let’s Ask the children:
What future do you dream of?
What kind of technology?
What kind of school would you like to study?
What kind of city would you like to live in?
Different methods of communication from the phone, what can be the tools?
Do you think the new sensory organs can be added to people? What would you like to happen?
Do you think the design of this TV might be more useful?
In the future do you think…?
You can increase the questions.
Then we’ll start producing solutions based on the answers we’re going to get.
Not random, but systematic, production-oriented…
Innovation, investment, information age, etc. The key to the future doors of the golden words is the imagination of children.
Especially companies R & D departments, school administrations, teachers, universities can provide much more beautiful environments in this regard, I am sure that this approach can be assessed with different projects.
There are different national and international fine examples in this regard, but as soon as you ask me it should become a permanent and persistent policy.
Maybe it’s a childish dream, what do you say?
Love…
Ibrahim
